BETZHOLD, Alan Ivar

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona September 10, 2010 Alan Ivar Betzhold, 71, formerly of Litchfield Park, died Sept. 1, 2010, at his home in Phoenix. Mr. Betzhold was born in Milwaukee to Elmer and Doris. He was an Army veteran who played minor league baseball with the Boston Red Sox organization. He is survived by a former wife, Carla of Goodyear; one daughter, Pam of Litchfield Park; two sons, David of Tucson and Steve of Argyle, Texas; three brothers, Erwin, Delmer and Theodore; one sister, Davi Longhini; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park. Memorial may be sent to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
