Gayle E. Laureta, 62, of Avondale, died Sept. 5, 2010, at her home in Avondale.
Mrs. Laureta was born Jan. 26, 1948, in Denver to Ellis and Oletha Evelyn McMillan. She moved to Arizona in 1996 and was a member of a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in the West Valley.
She began her career in Denver as an accountant with Homeowner Association Management and advanced to other responsibilities, including community manager and education director for community managers.
She is survived by her husband, James A.; one son, Gerold Dean Hoskins; one daughter, Melissa Hoskins Muniz; one brother, John McMillan; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Thompson Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 7101 W. Orangewood Ave., Glendale.
