Longtime resident of Graham and Greenlee counties, Rosalio R. Quinones passed away at home Thursday, May 31, 2007.
He was born in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Natividad and Adelaida Rentereia Quinones on Jan. 29, 1938.
He is survived by his mother, Adelaida Quinones; his wife, Elizabeth Whipple-Quinones; sons, Dale, Randy, Adam, David (Autumn), Andy, Jonathan and Michael; daughters, Brenda (Rene) Apodaca, Janie (Jose) Burrola, Priscilla (Daryl) Todacheenie, Rosie Gibson, Julie, Katie, Jessica and Michelle; 21 grandchildren; sisters, Carmen Chavez, Marie (Rosalio) Garcia and Patsy (Albert) Trujillo; brothers, Armando (Molly) Quin-ones and Joe Quinones; and many nieces and nephews.
Rosalio was preceded in death by his father, Natividad; wife, Margaret Herrera Quinones; daughter, Sandra Hernandez; sister-in-law, Patricia Quinones; and brother-in-law, Richard Chavez.
Rosalio farmed and worked for Phelps Dodge until 2006. He enjoyed farming, gardening, music, travel and family.
Funeral services were held June 6, 2007, at the Duncan Stake Center. Arrangements were entrusted to the Morris Safford Funeral Home.
