David M. Boehler, 63, of Safford passed away June 7, 2007, in Tucson. He was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Waggoner, Ill., to Nicholas Joseph Boehler and Lora Helen Irwin. David married Juanita Gutierrez on Feb. 12, 1966. David resided in Arizona for the past 17 years and was employed by Phelps Dodge Corporation, beginning in Silver City, N.M., in 1978. David was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas J. Boehler, and his sister, Betty Tischkau of Farmersville, Ill. He is survived by his mother, Lora Helen Boehler of Taylor Springs, Ill.; his loving wife, Juanita Gutierrez of Safford; his daughter, Kathy Prieto of Littleton Colo.; his sons, Kevin Boehler of Minot, N.D., and Nicholas M. Boehler and Jason Boehler, both from Tucson; grandchildren, Kaleb and Jorgia Boehler of Minot, N.D., and Aiden and Arianna Prieto of Littleton, Colo.; sister, Barbara (Lorry) McKinney of Taylorville, Ill.; brother, Don Boehler of Hillsboro Ill.; sister, Ginny (Terry) Brockmeyer of Raymond Ill.; brother, Pat (Betsy) Boehler of Hillsboro, Ill.; brothers, Michael Boehler of White Fish, Mont. and Phil Boehler of Waggoner, Ill.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A rosary was Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Mass following. Arrangements were entrusted to McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
