FIELD, SR, Albert L.

Albert L. Field Sr., 92, of Tucson and formerly of Avondale, died June 19, 2006.

Mr. Field married his wife, Ruth, on May 18, 1940, in Perry, Ohio. The couple moved in 1948 to Arizona, and settled in Avondale. 

Mr. Field worked as a tug driver and aircraft mechanic at Litchfield Naval Air Facility and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base before retiring in 1978.

Mr. Field is survived by his wife, Ruth; six daughters, Rosemary Hunt and Elizabeth Susanne Roth, both of Snowflake, Merry Christine Hall of Livingston, Texas, Carol Ann Leonard of Scottsdale, Linda Sue Babin of Houston and Nancy Jane Field of Cypress, Calif.; three sons, Bruce B. of Manhattan Beach, Calif., James L. of Flower Mound, Texas, and Al Field Jr. of Phoenix; 35 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A service was held June 24 in Tucson.
