Gavina "Chata" Ayala, 74, of Tolleson, AZ. Died June 22, 2006.

Mrs. Ayala had lived with her husband of 47 years, Baltazar Ayala, in the Cashion community of Avondale.

She is survived by her husband, Baltazar; two daughters, Ana Hanns and Sandra Ayala; one son, Tomas Guerrero; two sisters, Mary Melendez and Francis Algaray; four brothers, Raymond, Ernie, Jose and Johnny Lopez; and two grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson.

Mortensen Kings Funeral Center in Phoenix made the arrangements.

Gavina is buried in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.
