GRIMM, Donald

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona September 24, 2010 Donald Grimm, 63, formerly of Tolleson, died Aug. 14, 2010, in Bay Pines, Fla., after a long illness. Mr. Grimm was born March 29, 1947, in Mequon, Wis., and moved to Arizona in 1979. He was a master electrician. He served in the Marine Corps from 1967 to 1973, attaining the rank of staff sergeant, and was awarded a Silver Star, Purple Heart and other medals of commendation for his service in the Vietnam War. He is survived by one daughter, Amy of Appleton, Wis.; one son, Phillip of Goodyear; four sisters, Carol Jarosch and Beverly Miller, both of Wisconsin, and Earline and Linda, both of Florida; one brother, Michael of Florida; and one grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 19 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
