NISSEN, Pharine

age: 82 yrs 0 mos 22 days Pharine Nissen died peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2012 at her home in Yuma. She was born in Wheatley, Arkansas on December 24, 1929. She was married during WWII and moved to Arizona in 1952. Pharine was a bookkeeper here in Yuma her entire career. She raised her children, and enjoyed breeding birds, playing cards, gardening and crocheting. Pharine is survived by her daughter, Malise; three sons, Keith, Chris, and Kevin; two brothers, J.D and Larry; six grandchildren, Jason, Whitney, Kyle, Malea, Christopher and McKenna. A memorial service will be held at the Long's home on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to Hospice of Yuma.
