Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, January 19, 2012 - Carl David Winsor May 18, 1960 — Dec. 26, 2011 Carl was born in Santa Ana, Calif., to Travis Leroy Winsor and Jean Winsor, May 18, 1960. He passed away Dec. 26, 2011, in Lake Havasu City, at the young age of 51. Carl worked in the shipyards in Portland, Ore., and in the construction business in Lake Havasu City for a total for 30 years; the last eight years were in Havasu. Carl worked hard his whole life. He made a lot of friends and mostly everybody liked the way he was so upbeat. Carl leaves behind his wife, Shawnie; two sons, Travis Winsor and Nathan (Megan) Winsor; father, Travis Leroy Winsor, of Lake Havasu City; mother, Lorna Jean Winsor, of Washington; sisters, Terri Moore, of Oregon, Cheryl D. Kleier, of Washington, and Melissa D. Gallagher, of Texas; one brother, Mark D. Winsor of Oregon; and one granddaughter, Chloe, also of Oregon. A celebration of Carl’s life will take place at 550 London Bridge Road, Lake Havasu City Sunday, at 2 p.m. Lunch will be served.
