Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from January 15 to January 22, 2012 - Carol I. Rotter, age 76, a 30-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away at home surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. She was born December 15, 1935, in Linesville, Pa. Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Rotter; her parents; son-in-law, Blaine Martin; and grandson, Jimmy Taylor. Carol is survived by her daughter, Marla Martin of La Quinta, Calif.; four sons, Jim (Sharon) Sommer of Bullhead City, Ariz., Craig Sommer of Apple Valley, Calif., John (Annette) Fowler of Henderson, Nev., and Charlie (Patti) Fowler of Henderson, Nev.; eleven grandchildren, Chris, Reid, Shad, Dustin, and Danny Martin, Mike Taylor, Skyler and Thomas Fowler, Alexandra McCarter, James and Stefani Fowler; and two great-grandchildren, Makaila and Makenna Taylor. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at the First Baptist Church, 1700 Palma Drive, Bullhead City, Arizona.
