Adelina Valdez-Delgado, 59, of Avondale died June 17, 2006, in Phoenix.

Mrs. Valdez-Delgado was born Nov. 26, 1946 in Tolleson to Eliza Bustamante-Valdez and Edwardo Valdez. 

She lived her entire life in Arizona, primarily in the Cashion community of Avondale. She worked for several companies, including Crisis Intervention, where she was a social worker-aide.

Mrs. Valdez-Delgado is survived by one daughter, Diana Bustos; two sons, Frank and Octavio Delgado; two sisters, Elisa Valdez-Lazarin and Ramona Rubalcaba; four brothers, Eduardo Jr., Guillermo, Juan and Guadalupe Valdez; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. June 26, also at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.

Greer-Wilson Funeral Home in Phoenix made the arrangements.
