Arrangements by Heritage Memory Mortuary. ------------------------------ Fresno Bee, Fresno, California January 22, 2012 Jane was born October 9, 1921 in Bakersfield, Ca. to Ray and Rose Lewis. She passed away on January 17, 2012, in Prescott, Az, at the age of 90. She moved to Fresno with her parents in the late 1920's. She attended Lafayette Elementary, Hamilton Junior High, and Graduated from Fresno High School in 1939. She worked in various administrative support positions in the Fresno Unified School District, retiring in 1984 as the principal's secretary at Tioga Middle School. She and her husband Melvin moved to Prescott, Az. in 1990. Jane was an accomplished painter and seamstress, an avid golfer, and square dancer. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Melvin; son, Douglas Marsh of Fresno; daughter, Gayle Lake of Sacramento, Ca.; grandchildren, Aimee Marsh, Daniel Williams, and Amanda Abrahams.
