JAEHNIG,
Ralph L.
Ralph L. Jaehnig, 86, of Mesa, Arizona went to his eternal home on Sunday, June 10, 2007.
He was born to Rudolph and Erna Jaehnig in Centerville, Wisconsin on February 16, 1921.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bernice, and four children, Chet (Barb) of Chandler; Jane Lepich (Jim) of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Dan (Becky) of Chandler; and Ellen of Mesa. Twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren blessed his days.
Ralph honored his country by serving in the army during WWII in the Pacific. After serving his term in the service, he and Bernice settled in Two Rivers, Wisconsin where they raised their family.
In 1973, Ralph and Bernice, with children Dan and Ellen, moved to Mesa, Arizona and started Tri-Rentals. For 25 years, Ralph and Bernice worked hard at providing personal service to each customer they served and enjoyed watching the party rental business grow. Ralph retired from the business in 2000.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 14 followed by service at Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church, 3257 E. University Dr., Mesa, AZ. Since Ralph was a strong supporter of Christian education, the family asks that memorials be directed to Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church and School in Mesa, AZ, or Arizona Lutheran Academy in Phoenix, AZ, or Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.
