IRVINE, Delbert Bruce

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona October 05, 2010 Delbert Bruce Irvine, 87, of Peoria and formerly of Sun City and Buckeye, died Sept. 29, 2010, in Peoria. Mr. Irvine was born March 2, 1923, in Long Beach, Calif. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and met his wife while training at Luke Air Force Base. He later attained the rank of major in the Air Force Reserve. He was a special projects engineer with Bell Telephone before retiring in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; two sons, Randy and David; one daughter, Dianne; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services were Oct. 2 at Liberty United Methodist Church, 19900 W. Highway 85, Buckeye. Burial was at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road, Buckeye.
