Abel M. Lugo, 73, of Phoenix and formerly of Tolleson, died Oct. 2, 2010, in Glendale.

Mr. Lugo was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He moved to Arizona in 1954.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one daughter, Rose Mary Ruiz; five sisters, Emma Ram, Herminia Garcia, Juanita Alvarado, Connie Lugo Morado and Nestora Moreno; two brothers, Fred and Roy; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 6 p.m. today at Cruz del Calvario Church, 1010 N. 95th Ave., Tolleson.
