POOR, SR, Donald (Don) Gene

Donald "Don" Gene Poor, Sr. Age 57, a resident of Valparaiso, IN passed away December 21, 2011 in Mesa, Arizona. On that early December morning, he felt no more pain. Don left behind five children Lisa, Kristina, Donald Jr., Jennifer and Elizabeth. He had 6 grandchildren, one brother Ronald, one sister Virginia and countless other family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was known as someone who would give you a hard time, and an even harder time if he liked you. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and an even bigger smile when talking about his grandchildren. He was a proud father, and an even prouder grandfather. He was an imperfect man, like anyone else but what set him apart was his love of his family. In his last days, he got to be with his children, he heard all of their voices in the same room laughing, crying, and just being there for their father. After having those last few days with his children was when he decided he had enough pain and wanted to be with Mom, Dad, and his sister Wanda. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
