CLARK, Russell Allen

Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on January 25, 2012 - Russell "Rusty" Allen Clark, 41, died on the evening of Dec. 29, 2011, at the hands of the woman he loved and lived with for the last 18 years. Born May 5, 1970, in Lake View Terrace, Calif. He lived in Sunland, Calif., until 1978 when his family moved to Simi Valley, also a southern California community. With the exception of a short stay in Las Vegas, Nev., Rusty spent the last 18 years here in Parker, Ariz., where he met Cheryl Greenwade, with whom he had a child, Crystal Ray Clark. Cheryl has two other children, Amanda and T.J. Minky, from an earlier relationship that Rusty raised and was a proud father too. For the majority of the years here in Parker, Rusty worked for Emerald Cove Resort, on the river. His latest job was with La Paz County Public Works, where he continued to make new friends, as he did everywhere he went, which was evident by the large turnout at the burial ceremony at Parker Cemetery, Jan. 7. He is survived by a great-grandmother, Inez Barton; grandmother, Dianne Simmons; grandfather, Jack Simmons; grandmother, Laurita Clark; his parents, George and Deborah Clark; sister Mendy Clark; nephew, Christopher Clark; niece, Heather Lowe; daughters, Amanda Minky and Chrystal Clark; son T. J. Minky and two grandchildren, all of whom he was devoted and loved dearly. All who had the pleasure of knowing him will miss Rusty.
