PARIMORE, Raymond L.


Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on January 25, 2012 - Raymond L. Parimore, a resident of Parker, Ariz., died Nov. 15, 2011 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Mr. Parimore had been ill for some time and succumbed to complications of cancer. He was born on June 24, 1929 in Tennessee, where he lived until 1959. He had been a custom upholsterer and furniture designer for over 60 years. He previously lived in Landers, Calif., with his late wife, Marie Parimore, where they owned Marie's Custom Interiors. After the death of his wife in 1987, Raymond retired and moved to Parker several years later. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Warren of Moreno Valley, Calif.; sons Raymond Parimore, Jr. and Ronald W. Parimore, both of Riverside, Calif., and son Christopher Parimore of Parker. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Raymond is survived by one brother, Bobby Parimore of Atoka, Tenn.; two sisters: Laverne Laney also of Atoka, Tenn., and Bettye Nall of Spencer, Wis. Only a month before his passing, he lost his youngest sister, Carolyn Williams of Atoka, Tenn. A memorial service was held Jan. 13, at Joshua Tree Memorial Park in Joshua Tree, Calif.
