Julie passed away in Las Vegas after a four-month battle with cancer. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jim and Norma Zink of Lake Havasu City and her brother and sister-in-law James and City Tappenbeck of Weed, Calif.
Julie was born and raised in Los Angeles and spent her working career in Southern California before moving to Earp in 1991. Here in Parker she made many friends over the years and was active in supporting the Parker Public Library. Later she became involved with making and distributing blankets for Project Linus.
Arrangements are being taken care of by The Neptune Society. The family would like to ask the good people of Parker to continue to support her hard working friends with Project Linus through the Senior Center and the Parker Public Library.
Also being a lifelong lover of dogs, people wishing could continue her support of Best Friends Animal Society at BESTFRIENDS.org.
