Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, January 25, 2012 Dale R. Hamblin, DDS, 78, passed away on Nov. 3, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He attended Mesa High School, ASU and Baylor University Dental School. After serving two years in the U.S. Army as a medic, he practiced dentistry in Mesa for 40 years and seven years in Globe at Diamond M Dental Associates. He retired in September of 2011. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, his parents, his sister and his son, Russell. He is survived by three sons, three daughters, three step-children, two brothers, 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His family was precious to him. Dr. Hamblin loved dentistry and was very dedicated to his patients. He had a passion for good recipes and good food. He enjoyed reading anything on Arizona history and seemed to “know something about everything.” His co-workers at Diamond M Dental miss him, his jokes, his kindness and friendship.
