Mrs. Vyceil (Vy) E. (Pendergrast) Purkey, 94, passed from this life on Jan. 25, 2012, in Prescott, Ariz. Vy was born in Prescott, Ark., on March 19, 1917.

Surviving is her husband Arthur Purkey; two sons; and two sisters.
