Donald R. Cook, 76, SSGT USMC retired, of Dewey, Ariz., born Jan. 29, 1935, in McKeesport, Pa., passed Jan. 19, 2012.
Staff Sergeant Cook served his country with 20 years of active service in the Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Roberta Cook; a son, Donald Cook Jr.; daughter Dawn Cook Ziglari (Hussein); brothers Elden Cook, Dewayne Cook (Sylvia) and Robert Cook (Joan); sisters Marlene Cook Pasko (Clyde), Sandra Repenning and Eunice "Honey" Massie; stepson Stephen D. Charlton (Ana); stepdaughters Jill R. Charlton Cramm (Brian), Carrie M. Oliver (Don) and Shannon L. Purlee (Darrell); and nine grandchildren.
Military services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, in the Prescott National Cemetery.
