GLASS, David Fenlon

Meldrum Mortuary & Crematory, Mesa, Arizona David Fenlon Glass January 3, 1941 ~ January 21, 2012 We are sad to announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born on January 3, 1941 in Worland, WY to Jerald Robert Glass and Mary Helen Fenlon Glass. He excelled at anything he tried, from high school and college athletics to service in the Air Force; from graduating Summa Cum Laude from ASU to lovingly serving for 30 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jerald was known for his sense of humor, his sweet tooth, and his unstinting willingness to help those in need. He was a man of faith; he served in many capacities in the LDS church, and he was a lifelong missionary. He excelled at many things, but he was best at adoring and honoring his wife of thirty-eight years. He is survived by his eternal companion, Peggy Lisonbee Glass, seven children, Kohl (Chris), Rainey (Ben) Stayner, JC (Heather), Marshall, Mitchell, Jordan (Christine) and Melanie (Adam) Brown; and grandchildren, Madison, Nathan, Jerry, Jaycee and Autumn; as well as his siblings Jeannie Russell, Sally Copen and Roger Glass. The funeral services will take place at 2 pm on Sat. Jan. 28 at the Beverly Building, 1054 W. 2nd Pl., Mesa, AZ 85201. A viewing will be held at Meldrum’s Mortuary from 6-8 pm on Friday, Jan. 27 and from 1-2 pm at the Beverly Building prior to the funeral.
