Edith Marie Headding, born August 22, 1920 in Wheatland, WY passed away on June 6, 2007 in Youngtown, AZ.
Edith moved to Washington in the 30's. During World War II, she was a "Rosie the Riveter" at Boeing, to aid in the war effort. She worked in retail sales, was a member of the Retail Clerks Union and served on the bargaining team. Upon retirement, Edith and her husband, Lloyd, moved to Peoria, AZ and were active in the Pearl Harbor Survivors' Association and the Peoria Spirit of Hope Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Lloyd (1994) and three brothers, Charles, Eugene and Fred Wyman. She is survived by four children, Lana (Randy) Herndon of Glendale, AZ, Jerry (Michelle) Headding of Grapeview, WA, Nancy (Al) Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Dan (Donna) Headding of Boardman, OR, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the Baptist Village Chapel.
