ERICKSON, Mary Elizabeth

Mary Elizabeth Erickson, 88, of Mesa, died peacefully at Friendship Village, Tempe, Arizona on June 7, 2007. She was the devoted wife of Irvin (Eric) Erickson, who died in 1998. Mary was born in Ashley, Pennsylvania on December 2, 1918 to the late John Henry and Jenny (Lehman) Conrad. She was a graduate of St. Leo's High School, Ashley, Pennsylvania, and Wilkes-Barre Business School of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Before retiring, she was employed by Ethicon, Inc. in Bridgewater, New Jersey for many years. She was a member of Holy Cross Church in Mesa, Arizona. She is survived by her two sons: John Erickson of Phoenix, Arizona, and William Erickson and his wife, Teresa, of Asheville, NC; one granddaughter, Erin of Oakland, CA, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at Mariposa Gardens Mortuary at 400 S. Power Rd., Mesa, Arizona. A funeral mass was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S Power Rd , Mesa. Private interment service was held in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mary's name be made to the charity of one's choice.
