PURCELL, Billy L.

Billy L. Purcell, age 69, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. Billy was born in Carlisle, Kentucky. He married Frances in May 1976 and just celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary. They moved to Peoria in April 1987. Billy served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and thereafter was involved in the transportation industry and worked with Allied, and United Van Lines for 37 years. He was an avid golfer. He is survived by: his wife Frances, his children: Diane Rowan, of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Brenda Ellis, of Charlestown, Indiana; Paula Horn, of Corydon, Indiana; his grandchildren Bryon, Jennifer, Elise, Jessica, and Samuel, and two great grandchildren; his mother Naomi Purcell, and sister Linda Berry, both of Louisville, Kentucky.
