NEGRI, Frances Mary

Frances Mary Negri, 93, of Palm Springs, CA passed away quietly on May 18, 2007 in Palm Springs, CA. She was born in Bisbee, AZ in 1913 and graduated from high school there in 1931. She then went to St. Mary's School of Nursing in Tucson, AZ and earned her degree in 1935. Frances married James Wood Negri in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 1938. Frances was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed her life in Douglas, AZ and resumed her nursing career after her husband's death in May 1962. She is survived by both of her sons, John and Jay and his wife Lisa of Prescott, AZ; Two grandchildren, Todd from Prescott and Tricia Negri-Sokolowski; grandson in law, Eric; and two great grandchildren, Collin and Ella Mary, all of Cornelius, NC. Frances is also survived by two brothers, Earl Franks of Tucson, AZ and Bill Franks of San Jose, AZ. Internment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Catherdral City, CA.
