ANDERSON, William E.

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona October 12, 2010 William E. Anderson, 86, of Litchfield Park died Oct. 7, 2010, at the La Loma Care Center in Litchfield Park. Mr. Anderson was born May 19, 1924, in Denver. He moved to Arizona in 1984 and retired after 37 years as a manager for Mountain Bell, AT&T and Qwest. He was a Navy veteran who was assigned to submarine service during World War II. He also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Elks Lodge and Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife, Billie: one daughter, Linda Petrarca of Goodyear; one son, Dr. Robert C. Anderson of Avondale; and one grandchild. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at La Loma Village, 14154 W. Denny Blvd., Litchfield Park. Memorials may be sent to the Colorado Boys Ranch Youth Connect, P.O.
