West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona October 19, 2010 Jerry Munger, 70, of Goodyear died Oct. 16, 2010, in Goodyear. Mr. Munger was born Dec. 14, 1939, in Brainerd, Minn., to Elson and Gladys Munger. He moved to Arizona in 2003. Mr. Munger was a Navy veteran and a self-employed appliance repair technician. He also was a past member of the Elks Lodge and a member of the Fun Runners Car Club. He is survived by his wife, Harriet; one daughter, Allison Lynn Jones; two sons, Scott and Garrett; one sister, Pat Maple; two brothers, Melvin and Kenneth; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Memorials can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
