Today's Daily News, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published on June 30, 1994 - Lavern Giles Korean War Veteran, plumber Lavern Giles, 58, a resident of Lake Havasu City and Arizona for the past two years, died June 27, 1994, at his residence. He was born July 27, 1935, in Maultrie, Georgia. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army, and worked 25 years as a plumber. He is survived by his son, David W. of Lake Havasu City; two daughters, Michelle of Georgia and Debra Ann of Lake Havasu City; a brother, Paul E. of Georgia; two sisters, Sarah Tanner of Georgia, and Irene Kilgore of Kentucky. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Conributions are asked to be made to the Hospice of Havasu. Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
