TORRES, SR., George

George Torres Sr., 68, of Phoenix, a worker in an automobile-body shop, died Feb. 15, 1996.  He was born in Phoenix and was a member of American Legion Post No. 41.

Survivors include his wife, Lupe; daughter, Carol; son, George Jr.; one sister; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 4:30 to 8pm Tuesday with 7pm rosary, Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 909 E Washington St., Mass: 9:30am Wednesday at the church.  Maryvale Mortuary/National Cremation and Burial.
