WOOD, Marjorie Viola

Wood, Marjorie Viola Marjorie Viola Wood, passed away on September 16, 2004, at 83 years of age. Marjorie was born April 23, 1921, in Bancroft, Idaho, to William Henry and Sarah Zweifel Chandler. She was the 7th of 12 children. She worked as a nurse at Tempe Community Hospital and retired as a Tempe Union High School employee. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl, son Richard (Betsy), daughter-in-law Teverly, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Edward "Pete" Wood, son Leo and grandson Daniel. Marjorie loved cooking for family and friends, fishing and traveling. Visitation and services were at Bunker's Mortuary, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa. Published in The Arizona Republic on 9/21/2004.
