Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 21, 1974 Lawrence Lewis, Died Friday Lawrence Lewis, 86, died Friday at Yavapai Community Hospital. Mr. Lewis was born on Feb. 2, 1888 in Memphis, Tenn. He had been an accountant and practiced in St. Louis and Hammond, Ind. He retired in 1959 and moved to Tucson. Mr. Lewis and his widow were visiting Prescott at the time of his death. He had been a member of the Masonic Order for 50 Years, and also belonged to the Ozark Shrine and the Scottish Rite of Hammond. He is survived by his widow, Sarah, of Tucson; one son, Fred, of Houston, Tex.; and one daughter, Blossom Bern, of Oskosh, Wis. He will be sent to St. Louis, Mo. for service and burial. Ruffner Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
