Byron Rabun Rites Friday
Byron H. Rabun, 84, died Saturday.
Mr. Rabun was born on Aug. 3, 1889 in Arkansas. He had served with the U.S. Navy during World War 1, and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a dispatcher for many years before turning to ranching in Oklahoma.
He moved to Prescott 23 years ago and was a member of Cherokee Lodge No. 10, F.& A.M. in Tahlequah, Okla.
Survivors include one niece, Mrs. Harlan Hall, of Prescott; and one nephew, Harry Hall, of Newark, N.J.
Graveside services will be held at Prescott National Cemetery on Friday at 10 a.m.
