Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 29, 1974 Yates Services In Texas Billy G. Yates, 49, died at the Whipple VA Hospital Monday. He was born on May 26, 1925 in Mulberry, Tex. and had been a resident of Prescott for the past 15 months. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. Survivors include one son, Billy C. Yates, U.S. Army; one daughter, Mrs. Diana Gibson; three brothers, Virgil Yates, Albuquerque, N.M.; J.B. Yates, Memphis, Tex., Donald M. Yates, Wichita Falls, Tex. Funeral services will be at the Spencer Funeral Home in Memphis, Tex. Hampton Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
