Mrs. Marie Young Lived Here 56 Years
 
Mrs. Marie S. Young, 76, died at her home early Monday morning. A 56-year resident of Prescott. 

Mrs. Young walked from Phoenix to Prescott in 1918 when she was 20 years old. Born in Old Mexico Aug. 15, 1898 her family fled to Texas at the time of the Villa revolution and later moved to Phoenix. 

She was the widow of Frank Young who preceded her in death in 1973.
 
Mrs. Young was a member of the Eastern Star, and the Daughters of Tabor. 

Among her survivors is a stepson Frank L. Young Jr.
 
Services for Mrs. Young will be held at Ruffner Funeral Home Thursday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Mountain View Cemetery. 

Friends may call at Ruffner's from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
