Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, November 1, 1974 Russell Gilbert Rites Today Russell A. Gilbert, 84, died at the Whipple VA Hospital. He was born on June 26, 1890 in Saginaw, Mich. and came to Arizona from Seattle, Wash. 15 years ago. He had lived in Yarnell the past 12 years and was a veteran of World War I and the U.S. Army. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Colleen Russell, of Seattle, Wash. Private graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 1 at Genung Cemetery in Peeples Valley. Memory Chapel is handling arrangements.
