Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 16, 1974 Hansel Baird Dies at Whipple Hansel S. Baird, 74, died at the Whipple VA Hospital Monday. He was born on April 15, 1899 in Kansas City, Kan. and had been an Arizona resident for the past 31 years. He was an eight 1/2 year resident of Mayer at the time of his death. He was a veteran of World War I and the U.S. Navy, having been an S. 2C. Survivors include his widow, Jeanette Baird of Mayer. Funeral services will be held at the Sunset Mortuary in Phoenix. Hampton Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
