The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, August 14, 1974 Robert Moore Rites Tomorrow Robert R. Moore, 81, died at the Veterans Administration Center, Monday August 12. He was born February 15, 1893 at Lumber City, Pa. Mr. Moore moved to Chino Valley 45 years ago from Ohio. He was a rancher. A veteran of the U.S. Army during World War I, he served in the Infantry. He was a member of the Ernest Love Post No. 6 of the American Legion of Prescott and was a charter member of the Chino Valley Community Church where he was a lifetime deacon. Survivors include: his widow, Retta of Chino Valley; two sisters, both out of state; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 15, at Memory Chapel here with burial to follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Memory Chapel. The family requests that any donations be made to this Chino Valley Community Church in memory of Mr. Moore.
