GAFFANEY, Marguerite A.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, July 30, 2003 Marguerite A. Gaffaney, 85, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on July 28, 2003. She was born and raised in Minot, ND. She attended the University of North Dakota and then work-ed for Northwest Airlines. She married Dick Gaffaney in 1948. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family. She lived most of her adult life in Fargo, ND. She spent winters in Scottsdale for many years before moving to Arizona two years ago. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years and by her eldest son, Jim Gaffaney, who died in the Vietnam Conflict in 1968. Survivors include her daughter Jan Reagan of Newport Beach, CA, son, Jerry Gaffaney, daughter-in-law, JoAnn Gaffaney, and her grandchildren, Sean and Jackie Gaffaney, all of Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be Thursday, July 31, 2003, 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with Funeral Service at 7:00 PM, at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd.
