RAYNER, Lucy Elizabeth

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Lucy Elizabeth Rayner (Died February 7, 2012) Long time Flagstaff resident, Lucy Rayner passed away peacefully at the Flagstaff Medical Center on Tuesday February 7th 2012 . As a child Lucy traveled about the world with her family, moving to Flagstaff in 1963. She was a member of the first graduating class from Coconino High School in 1969. After high school, Lucy continued her travels while employed as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, before re-locating back to Flagstaff and raising a family. Lucy was deeply loved by her family and those who knew her best. She will always be remembered as a kind and sharing person, who would put the needs of others in front of her own. Lucy was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Rush, and her father Richard. Lucy is survived by her mother Florence Gunderson, her daughter Antonia Rucker, two grandchildren, Savannah and Raegan, her brother Fritz Rush, and her sister Cindy Leitner, along with many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday February 15th, 11:00am, at the Episcopal Church 423 N. Beaver Street. Those who knew and loved Lucy are welcome to attend.
