West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona November 02, 2010 John Daniel Coronado Jr., 51, of Glendale died Oct. 25, 2010, in Phoenix. Mr. Coronado was born Jan. 3, 1959, in Phoenix. He was a government worker who was employed by Avondale for nearly 10 years and then by Arizona for more than 15 years. He is survived by one daughter, Alicia Ana Coronado; one stepdaughter, Olivia Casillas; four brothers, Frank, Raymond, Victor and Joaquin; two sisters, Jenny Munoz and Marie; 25 nieces and nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by services today at Greer Wilson Funeral Home, 5921 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, 10045 W. Thomas Road, Avondale. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Ana Coronado, step-daughter, Olivia Casillas, step-grandson, Agustin, brothers, Frank, Raymond (Rose Mary), Victor (Georgina) and Joaquin, sisters, Jenny (Raymond) Munoz and Marie Isabel Coronado (Michael Rangel), 25 nieces and nephews, and many more relatives and friends who knew and loved him dearly. Preceded in death by, his parents, Juan & Adelina Coronado, sister, Catalina Lopez and brother, Efren Coronado. John worked for the City of Avondale for about 10 years and then the State of Arizona for over 15 years. He liked to play guitar and record music. He loved his Chihuahuas, Diamond, Molly, Billy Jack, Elvis, and puppies... He liked to walk, hike and just being in the outdoors.
