Adan A. Meraz, 46, of Phoenix died Nov. 5, 2010, in a motorcycle accident in Phoenix. He was thrown from his motorcycle near 99th Avenue and Indian School Road when he tried to avoid two people in wheelchairs, police said.

Mr. Meraz was born March 22, 1964, in Deming, N.M. He moved to Arizona in 1983.

He is survived by two daughters, Nicole Danielle and Christina Marie; two sons, Christopher Adan Albert and Anthony Marc Peter; his parents, Jesus and Fernanda; three sisters, Ofelia, Olivia and Olga; and one grandchild.

Services are pending in Las Cruces, N.M.
