West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona November 23, 2010 Ofelia S. Bermudez, 79, of Buckeye died of pneumonia Nov. 12, 2010, in Peoria. Mrs. Bermudez was born May 3, 1931, in Ajo. She was a homemaker and a lifelong Arizona resident. She is survived by her husband, Ismael "Shorty" Bermudez; one daughter, Elsa Lantzman of San Diego; four sons, Victor and Hector, both of Buckeye, Ruben of Tucson and Jamie of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held later at the San Xavier del Bac Mission in Tucson.
