Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, February 15, 2012 Norma Jean Fitzpatrick, age 89, of Tempe and Globe, Ariz., passed away peacefully on Feb. 8, 2012. She was born Norma Jean Potts in Taylorville, Ill. She moved with her husband, Minor Stephens, and three children to Tempe in 1960. She later married Charles Fitzpatrick and they moved to Globe in 1975 where they owned and operated C&N Distributors for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Brown (Caril); son, Don Stephens (Kris); step-daughter, Janene Hartline; brother, Kenneth Potts (Mary); numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her oldest son, Greg Stephens, and husband, Charles, preceded her in death. Her poem recitations, humorous stories, and great cooking will be truly missed. Donations in her name may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
