PAUL, Jerry Wilmot


Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from February 7 to February 14, 2012 - Jerry Wilmot Paul, age 70, a 27-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born November, 4, 1941, in Salmon, Idaho, to Wilmot Washington Paul and Rena Belle Eldridge. Jerry served in the Air Force from March 1959 until his honorable discharge in January 1963. After his discharge he lived in Phoenix, Ariz., and worked building in-ground pools. From there, he moved with his family to Grand forks, N.D., where he worked at the Pillsbury Company. In 1976, he moved back to Salmon, Idaho, where he worked as an auto mechanic and volunteered as an EMT. In 1983, he moved to Bullhead City, Ariz., and went to work at the Golden Nugget Casino in Security before transferring to be a locksmith until his passing. He loved to work on his 1970 Firechicken, on other's cars and computers. Jerry was a giving man, who would do anything to help the people in his life. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Doris Paul (Schafer); son, Johnny Wilmot Paul; both his mother and father; two brothers, Gerald Meredith and Charles Seiver; and one sister, Judy Moser. He is survived by his two daughters, Teresa (Teri) Woodman of Ponca City, Okla. and Jo Ann Haugen of Grand Forks, N.D.; son, Brian Fluge of North Dakota; four brothers, Gene Meredith of Las Vegas, Nev., Kelly Kenyon of Oklahoma City, Okla., Keith Kenyon of Kearny, Ariz., John Jenson of Wilderville, Ore.; three sisters, Mona Armstrong of Salmon, Idaho, Kathy Holme of Moses Lake, Wash., and Kay Kenyon of Coleville, Ore.; six grandchildren, Burgandy Trant, Michael Woodman, Alan Peterson, Olivia Peterson, Bobbie Jo Pederson and Daniel Fluge; and eight great-grandchildren, Dixiana and Shayden Trant, Lexis, Abagaile and Zoe Woodman, Andreu Mondalto, and Anthony and Cameron Belgarde. A Memorial Service will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Nevada Time) on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at the Golden Nugget Casino, 2300 S. Casino Drive, Laughlin, Nev., in the Night Club.
