The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 15, 2012 Lillian Rose Gorczyca, 74, of Humboldt, Ariz., passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, after a long illness. She was born on Aug. 4, 1937, in Lowville, N.Y., to the late Ray and Catherine Shepard Van Alstine. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bert R. Gorczyca; a brother and sister-in-law, Gale E. and Victoria A. Van Alstine of Lyons Falls, N.Y.; two brothers- and sister-in-law John and Winona Gorczyca of Humboldt, Ariz., and Louis Gorczyca of Glenfield, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mayer, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Lillian's memory to Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, P.O. Box 639, Tonopah, AZ 85354. Information provided by survivors.
