IRON, JR., Jerome (Will) Keetso


Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Thursday, February 16, 2012 Jerome "Will" Keetso Iron, Jr. passed away February 13, 2012. He was 24. Jerome was of the Bitterwater Clan, born for the Tangle People Clan, with Zuni People his maternal grandfather's clan, and Edgewater his paternal grandfather's clan. He was born on July 16, 1987 in Tuba City. In junior high he met the love of his life, Keisha Sheree Poleahla, who "was his everything." After high school he pursued a career in the automotive field, and was a part-time mechanic for family and friends. An avid Yankees fan, Jerome was a caring, loving & optimistic son/brother/uncle/friend to the many people whose hearts he touched. Jerome is survived by parents Jerome Iron, Sr. and Sharon L. Sandoval; sisters Terri L. Iron, Marissa L. Shula, and Merrilyn J. Iron; as well as four nieces and two nephews. He is preceded in death by grandparents Merril Sandoval, Lorraine Sandoval, Keetso Willie Iron, and uncle Gerald Sandoval. Services are to be held on Friday, February 17, 2012, at 10:00 AM, at the Assembly of God church on Peshlakai Avenue in Tuba City. Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Flagstaff.
