Mary “Mickie” Louise Allen died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at her home in Witch Wells. She was born July 20, 1949, in St. Joseph, Mo. to Victor Cero and Gloria Marie Citarelli.
Mickie was an outstanding dance instructor. She had the personality and sensitivity which allowed her to communicate and teach all around her to dance, from the very young all the way to the elderly, and people with handicaps, such as needing to use crutches or had trouble with other physical disabilities.
Mickie was able to use her amazing gift in everyday life and lived every day to the fullest. She was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was also an active participant in fundraising for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and was a loving and trusted wife and friend to her husband, Tom.
Mickie is survived by her husband, Thomas William Allen of Witch Wells; a daughter Dena Soricelli Vaz; son Jason Soricelli; niece Angie Sacckette; grand niece Katie Malanik; great-grand niece Zoey Staudle; and granddaughter Deanna Vaz.
