West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, February 17, 2012 Ruth Emma Gingras, 75, of Goodyear died Feb. 14, 2012, at Hospice of the Valley Palm Valley in Goodyear. Mrs. Gingras was born Aug. 31, 1936, in Springfield, Mass. She moved to Arizona around 1973. She had recently celebrated 25 years of sobriety and received her Alcoholics Anonymous chip for the accomplishment. She is survived by one son, Thomas William; one grandchild; one brother, Tom Lyon and one sister, Irene Henegar. A service will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Desert Springs Community Church East Campus, 447 S. Old Litchfield Road in Litchfield Park. The Rev. Steve Engram will officiate.
